Offset Printing
Our press room features three 40-inch Heidelberg Speedmaster perfecting presses-two four-color presses and one six-color press-and a 28-inch six-color Komori. Our crews of expert press operators, working three shifts, bring a combined 100 years of experience to the job. This means we do your job right, on budget, and on time-every time.
Closed Loop Color
Nothing is more vital to your company's public image than high-quality business communications. Including eye-catching and unique colors in logos and other aspects of your print materials is key to establishing your corporate brand. To guarantee the integrity of your company's colors so that they look the same throughout a press run and across a range of publication types on a variety of paper stocks, we have closed loop color systems on all our presses.
Closed loop color systems store spectral color data in a database at the press. These numeric values are stored in the presses' database reference for the current printing job and for subsequent jobs that use the same ink/paper combination.
It is called closed loop color because the spectrophotometer and the press communicate with each other to control the color during a press run. The system verifies that the color being printed on the press sheet matches the color stored in the database. If it does not, the system makes minor adjustments and corrects the problem. The closed loop system is set to a color variation tolerance imperceptible to the human eye; the spectrophotometer can see variances in color that not even the press operator can see.
